I thought the pain of my fertility journey was finally over. It turns out it was just beginning.

The last chapter of my pregnancy diaries is here! And it is with great admiration and excitement that I can finally announce that my beautiful son, Clyde, has arrived into the world happily, and healthily.

It’s hard to put into words the emotions I’ve been feeling lately. I’m walking closer to the end of this pregnancy, (well baby can come at any point from here on out safely), and yet I have been battling the feelings of regret and guilt. These last few weeks of re-entering normality have been challenging...

I come to you with open palms and a heavy heart, seeking healing. Seeking transformation. I am ready to lighten this burden upon my chest and move forward with strength and resilience. I have endured the pain I have needed to. I am ready to let go and move on. I am ready for my life to change for the better.

29 weeks tomorrow! Considering I went into hospital at 26 weeks it feels great that I have gained this extra time, but it’s been extremely challenging dealing with my emotions..

The most difficult part of this bedrest experience is the fact that I feel fine. I feel normal. Baby is kicking, there is no pain in my body, in my belly.
