How to Approach Life’s Challenges with Confidence

Do you feel overwhelmed by the challenges you face? Do you fear change or struggle to accept what is?

Inside every challenge holds an opportunity for self-transformation. The more difficult the challenge, the greater the wisdom that will be gifted as a result. But when faced with difficult scenarios, it’s unlikely that we’ll voluntarily accept our reality and be at peace.

The unknown can be a daunting feeling of confusion and unease. But despite this fear, we need to remember that the moment we accept what is happening to us, is the moment we release the pain. Through acceptance of the now we let go of expectations of how our life should be, and from here, we can live in the present moment with peace.

When we finally stop asking the question of why ‘is this happening to me’ and turn it around to be ‘how can this serve me?’ We are changing our perspective on the matter at hand, and this enables us to see the truth—that all change happens for a reason, and that reason is always to support the great transformation within us. This transformation is connected to the evolution of our soul’s energy, and our own personal development to fulfill our Soul Contract. And this challenge you are facing is a key piece of the puzzle that will help you ultimately succeed in your life.

To help find the strength to face these challenges, I love to turn to spiritual philosophy and mindfulness practices for guidance. Here are my top five practical strategies that will help you overcome your current conflict and come out feeling more empowered and resilient.

1. Take a step back and assess the situation before reacting.

Meditation is a great way to pause, breathe, and then move forward with action. I have a playlist full of guided meditations that can help you based on the situation you found yourself in. You can access it here.

2. Talk to a trusted friend or family member about the challenge.

If you find the situation extra challenging reach out for help. A therapist, healer, or support group with a similar issue can help you see the light when you can’t.

3. Remind yourself of your strengths and abilities to overcome the obstacle.

4. Look for creative solutions to help you manage the challenge with optimism.

I would recommend you journal on this to see what comes up. When learning how to journal, try out my free 3-day ecourse that will guide you.

5. Take breaks and find ways to relax and reduce stress.

6. Find peace with what is.

7. Let go and trust the Universe.

Facing challenges is difficult but it does get easier because, with each challenge that you overcome, your perception of the world changes, and your reactions become more neutralized. You learn to align with love instead of fear and embrace the trust that there is a greater message to be revealed. You know that everything in your life is placed there for a reason.

Remembering this can be difficult regardless of how much experience we gather, but the more you practice connecting with your soul, listening to your soul, and honoring and nurturing your soul, the easier life will become.

Love, Phoebe
