So often we can find ourselves faced with confusion, boredom, and exhaustion.
Here are 4 simple questions to ask yourself to ignite change in your life.
Every one of us is born with passion pumping through our veins. And most often, it can be a lifelong journey seeking the true depth of how this passion breathes life within you. Start by asking yourself the simple question of – What am I passionate about? If you have difficulty, start with small things. Perhaps you like cooking, maybe creating with your hands, maybe you enjoy reading specific genres of books. Whatever you find yourself drawn to, you need to explore it more. And bit by bit, as you keep delving deep within what it is that you are naturally drawn to, your passion will reveal itself to you. It takes a bit of patience and a lot of experimenting! But enjoy the process as this is something fun to figure out!
Inspiration can come to us in the most unlikely places; sometimes it could be in busy cafes people watching, or perhaps it’s staring at the sky with nature all around. What activities bring you joy? What kind of environments makes you think differently? Inspiration can be found from outside or inside stimulation, and generally, it tends to be found when you change your current routine. What can you do that you haven’t done before? How can you ignite a different perspective in your life? When was the last time you pushed yourself outside your comfort zone? Join a dance class, go to an art gallery, take part in a walking group? Mingle with others that you might not normally move with, to spark a new way of how to see the world.
When feeding yourself, it’s not just about food for the body, it’s also food for the mind and food for the soul. How are you feeding yourself? Are you nourishing your body with healthy plant-based food? And regular exercise? Are you fueling your mind with wisdom? Do you read books, or educate yourself? Are you nourishing your Soul with meditation, or replenishing with nature? Are you surrounding yourself with good people? How exactly are you feeding and balancing your mind, body, and soul?
Of all the tasks that surround you right now, which of them benefits you? Are you prioritizing the right goals in order to fulfill yourself first, so that you can give to others from a place of strength and confidence? It’s difficult to share the talents of yourself if you aren’t praising serving yourself enough first. Do the things that make you feel good first, and when you are satisfied, you will be in a much more powerful and positive place to give to others.
